Asking for a Friend

Not my real vision board, just a picture from unsplash

Well, this catchphrase has found a way or the other to fit well in the lives of many, mostly in a sarcastic setting. But today, as I write this, I’m literally asking for a friend or rather manifesting good company/good friends.

Late at night, I was on a call with my sister who lives in a different city and state, I started telling her about my vision board for 2024. Sitting beside her, my jiju probably heard us and hopped on the call.

Instantly, we started talking about affirmation, manifestation and how both of us have people in our lives who think this is crap. But how both of us are not just firm believers but advocates of the same.

He shared a close story of a friend who recently brought an almost impossible manifestation to life. And we both were in awe of it.

Just as we discussed this, he said this one thing “apne aas pass aise log rakho jo tumpe believe karein”, no matter hm kya and-shand manifest karein, usme believe karein.

So here, I am, asking for a friend.

Dusri bhasha me kahein toh “Chaloge hamare saath, banoge mere dost?”
