I Am on the Verge of Losing my Duolingo Streak and it Feels so Freaking Bad

For almost 76 days, I am learning French on Duolingo. I just love this language (moreover it will tremendously help me, whenever I will visit Paris 🙈).

More often than not, I usually learn this language in the first half of the day. Just so you know, I prefer doing my most consequential tasks in the first half of the day, just coz these are super important to me, bring me joy, and unfolds a great day ahead.

But a few days back, the date of an important examination came up and neither I can’t afford, nor I find it easy to pay all my attention to any other tasks rather than studying for it.

I am finding it extremely difficult to manage other things which compile my to-do list. And I am so badly on the verge of losing my Duolingo streak.

For the last 4 days, I remember taking up a french lesson when I lay on my bed to retire for the day. Almost at 11:50 p.m.

10 minutes is all I have to maintain the streak now. The language which was all about learning new words, pronouncing French words correctly, filling at least an hour or so of the first half of my day is now melted to the importance of maintaining the streak.

I am so afraid to lose it. And on the other hand, I don’t love the way I use to now (just for the sake of maintaining the streak), but I can't afford to let it go. I hope it stays beyond.

Oh….! Let me bring rest to typing and go to complete a lesson before it is eleven hundred and fifty on the clock.
